Social Media Content
Why?
Norn Group is a ‘do tank’ focused on increasing progress in longevity.
We’re critical thinkers who are impatient for results. We’re worried that there won’t be a serious longevity success by 2060, and are taking action to fix that. We’ve built a model of where progress comes from, across science, industry, and policy, and use that to find areas where something really impactful can (must) be done. We’ve given away $35M worth of grants and built a network of talent, but have so much more to do.
But we need help: What’s needed most is rarely simple or sexy. We need to get our stories out, clearly and consistently.
What?
Your job is to turn whitepapers, public appearances, and other longform content into stories that resonate on Twitter/LinkedIn. You'll get the keys to our accounts and experiment to find ways to make "we need better data collection for aging biomarkers" something that gets people riled up.
8-10 posts per week on our work and its impact, leveraging founder's accounts to extend reach.
Help craft the narrative. Work with the founder to find our voice and core messages. Enact a ban on corpospeak and blather.
Experiment your way to success. Try cadences, content types, and new ideas to find what resonates. Be data-driven and truth-seeking.
Atomize longform and podcasts/talks through threads, clips, quotes, and more.
Build the system: calendar, playbook, metrics, watchlists, voice guide.
How?
Work directly with our founder, Martin Borch Jensen. Weekly strategy sessions and ~daily touchpoints.
Collaborate with Chief of Staff, Sufal Deb for content based on the broader Norn community. Join sessions based on interest.
Part-time (~10 h/wk) to start. Most of your time will be spent thinking and writing for planned content.
Remote, with in-person engagement if in SF or Boston.
If you are amazing, we hope that you will eventually grow into our permanent comms lead.
